Shrub Trials

Your trial plants arrived in excellent condition and the packaging worked very well.
I have quite a shady garden so I was surprised to see a few blooms on the Buddleia last year and quite a few on the Hibiscus also. I put them in the brightest spot available.

The Hydrangea and Syringa are both doing very well this year. I had several blooms this spring on the Syringa (great scent). There were no blooms last year on the Hydrangea but the spring growth is promising. I am sorry to report that both the Hibiscus and the Buddleia did not make it through the winter. Thanks for the opportunity to try them out.
