Plants arrived last week and once again I am impressed by the quality of the plants that is assured by the very effective packaging. One of each was sent to another garden about 12 km due N. Doesn't sound like much but i am quite close to Lake Ont and that 12 km climb up the oak ridges morainne can make quite a difference. Mine are sitting in the shade getting acclimated for a few days, at least that sounds better than admitting to procrastination on my part. Trying to figure out where to plant them. The plants have opened up and show almost no signs of their confined travel. Report from the N garden will be posted in a few days.

About the trial
It was suggested to me that a blog is an easier and better way to record your experiences with these plants rather than send you all a survey at the end of the season. This is my first blog, so please forgive the appearance and any other weird things that may occur. Please feel free to send me suggestions.
Here's my initial list of questions for you all.
1) Did your plants arrive in good shape? Although we "harden off" all our plants prior to shipping, you might want to give them some time to recover from their trip. Feel free to send photos.
2) When did they arrive?

Hi All:
Thanks for your kind comments on our packaging. It ain't cheap but it always struck us as profoundly stupid to damage a plant in shipping after all the effort of getting it, growing it & selling it. We think it's worth it. Unfortunately, there is garbage being sold through Mail Order. Mail Order is used by gardeners all over the world and for some the only way to bring treats from the world to them.
Not ALL our plants are as nice as those provided by Proven Winners and Spring Meadow Nursery. It's really hard to have everything look great at the same time for shipping. We do our best.
I'd like you all to join me in thanking Proven Winners and Spring Meadow Nursery for providing these lovely plants.
