For the longest time for some reason I couldn't post to the blog but a little luck has me here today.
My hydrangea 'Moonlight' is growing extremely well as you can see in the picture and so is the little buddleia 'Blue Chip'. For some reason 'Bloomerang' didn't bud out that well with leaves or flowers and after pruning back a fair bit is coming along nicely now. It was covered with snow all winter so was well insulated here in zone 5; maybe slow to start.
Unfortunately I've not had good luck with rose of sharon in the past and 'Blue Chiffon' looks like it hasn't made it. I know they are late to come to life so will wait a bit longer to see what happens.
