Gardenimport Trials for Bulbs & Shrubs

Hi Dugald,
The plants are all doing well. The hibiscus has been planted on a west facing slope overlooking Georgian Bay near Thornbury - zone 5. One plant is blooming. I planted the butterfly bushes in 2 large containers in my back garden in downtown Toronto. I am going to leave them in the containers over the winter - should be a good test. So far they are blooming continually, but the plants have not gotten much bigger than when they arrived. I planted the lilacs in a very sandy garden at my cottage in Haliburton - Zone 3. They are growing well thanks to all the rain.
